Kathryn Lee Moore

Kathryn Lee Moore, 83 of Rochelle, went home to be with her Lord January 18, 2011 at her home. Services will be Friday, January 21st at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Rochelle with visitation Thursday, January 20th from 6-8 PM at Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Burial will be in the Morningside Cemetery.Reverend Jim Wiley, Reverend Mike Slade, and Reverend Ryan Lyons will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, George David Moore, Sr. and a son, George David “Little George”Moore, Jr.Parents were Roscoe and Emmie Leigh Williams Lee;siblings, Roscoe Ernest “Ree” Lee and Frankie Lee Mann.She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Rochelle serving on the Homecoming Committee, Flower Chairperson, Leader of Hazel Mayo Missionary Group, the Ruth Sunday School Class, the Esther Missionary Group, former Sunday School teacher and class president.She served her community as a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Charter member of the Alberta Crummey Garden Club holding many different positions in each.She had lived in Rochelle all her life and previously was active in the operation of Lee’s Furniture and Appliance and employee of Rochelle Garment Company.She attended Georgia College for Women and UGA. Survivors are:daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mike Slade of Warner Robins, son and daughter-in-law, Ernest and Beth Moore of Apollo Beach, Florida.Grandchildren:Dr. Lance Slade (Toni) of Warner Robins, Lori Slade Lyons (Ryan) of Milledgeville and Justin Moore of Apollo Beach, Florida.Great-grandchildren:Spencer Slade of Warner Robins, Michael and Kaitlyn Lyons of Milledgeville.Brother, James T. Lee (Sue) of Rochelle and brother-in-law, Jackie Guest (Libby) of Pitts. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
