Judy C. Gilman

Judy C. Gilman, age 78, of Abbeville, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, in Wilson Hospice House, Albany, Georgia.  She was a retired bookkeeper with the Wilcox County Board of Education, and a member of Siloam Baptist Church.  Judy also enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting with Frank.

She was born February 23, 1944, in Abbeville, to the late Curtis Mason Cartwright and Romelle Keene Cartwright.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gilman.  Survivors include her sister, Connie Rhodes (Warren) of Allen, TX; her brother-in-law and his wife, Billy and Bonnie Gilman of Sylvester; and several nieces and nephews including Michelle Gerber (Daniel), and Steven and Stacy Rhodes all of Texas.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 23 ^rd , at 2:00 p.m. in Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Baker and Rev. Joey Boney officiating.  A private interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the church.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
