Windell T. Williford

Windell T. Williford, age 75 of 4670 American Legion Rd., Abbeville, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the Kramer Baptist Church.Reverend Talmadge Wilcox will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Siloam Cemetery. Mr. Williford was born on January 1, 1935 in Rochelle, Ga.He was son of the late Moye Williford and Hortense Lindsey Williford.He was a member of the Kramer Baptist Church and was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with the City of Rochelle.He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Hart Williford. Survivors include:son-Kenneth (Margie) Williford of Abbeville, daughters-Donna (Wayne) Rountree of Cordele and Brenda Gibbs of Abbeville, sister-Ruth Bennett of Albany, 4-grandchildren and 3-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, Dec. 8th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
