Wilma Barefoot Wilcox

Wilma Barefoot Wilcox, age 77 of Rochelle, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 24 in the First Baptist Church of Rochelle.Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the church before the service.Reverend Jim Wiley, Reverend Roger Hanson and Reverend Bill Tracy will officiate.Interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Wilcox was born on March 16, 1934 in Cordele, Ga.She was daughter of the late Elbert L. Barefoot and Ruby Copeland Barefoot.She was a homemaker and seamstress and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochelle. Survivors include:sons-Dennis Harpe of Cordele and Mike Taylor of Rochelle, daughter-Dawn (Joe) Waldrip of Cordele, sisters-Myrna Coffee of Hatley and Melba Rogers of Cordele, 9-grandchildren and 10-great-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
