Wilma Fletcher

Wilma Fletcher, age 78 of Fitzgerald, formerly of Abbeville, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 in the Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20th in the Christian Fellowship Inc in Fitzgerald.Rev. David Fisher, Rev. Royce Freeman, Rev. David Clark and Reverend Rex Johnson will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Siloam Cemetery in Abbeville. Mrs. Fletcher was born in Abbeville on Feb. 10, 1941.She is the daughter of the late Lewis F. Weldon and Annie Mae Smith Weldon.She was a homemaker and member of Siloam Baptist Church.She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fletcher and 2 grandchildren, Curtis Dobbins, Jr and Abigail Rose Gibbs. Survivors include:daughters-Marie Walls (Mike Kirkland) of Lax, Gwen Gibbs of Fitzgerald and Tammy Dobbins (Curtis) of Fitzgerald, sisters-Frances Henderson of Abbeville, and Patricia Frazier (Dale) of Rochelle, 6-grandchildren-Shaun Walls, Shana Nickelson, Tricia Ferguson, Tamara Dobbins, Emily and Erin Gibbs and 8-great-grandchildren.
