Willie Mae Braziel, age 95 of Rebecca, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at her residence in Rebecca.Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 7th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 1-2 PM in the funeral home.Reverend Eric Smith will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Braziel was born on July 26, 1922 in Mystic, Ga.She was daughter of the late Willis David Wilkerson and Mae Belle Swafford Wilkerson.She had lived in Rebecca since 1984 moving from Washington, D. C.She was a homemaker and member of the Rebecca Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by infant son, Harold Rudolph Braziel, Jr. in 1950, brothers, Clark Wilkerson, Author Wilkerson, Oscar Wilkerson, Mack Wilkerson and Willis David Wilkerson, sisters, Pauline Raffield, Thelma Luke and Harriett Bohannon. She is survived by:her husband of 69 years, Harold Rudolph Braziel, son-David Braziel (Susan) Temple Hills, MD, daughter-Jennifer Pantos (Michael) of Brighton, Colorado, granddaughter-Mindy Morris (Luke) and Brighton, Colorado, grandson-Jonathan Price of of Myrtle Beach, SC.
