William Henry "Bill" Mcbryant

William H. “Bill” McBryantof2581 McBryant Rd., Pitts, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 21st in the New Hope Baptist Church in Cordele.Reverend Jerry Lavender will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the New Hope Cemetery. Mr. McBryant was born on October 19, 1933 in Pitts.He was son of the late Joe C. McBryant and Louvenia Simmons McBryant.He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was employed in the Maintenance Department with Gold Kist Co. for 21 years. Survivors include: wife-Betty McBryant of Pitts, sons-Donnie McBryant of Pitts, Darryl (Wanda) McBryant of Pitts and Steve (Gay) McBryant of Pitts, daughters-Cindy (Bruce) Jackson of Powder Springs and Linda (Frank) Forth of Cordele, brothers-Verlon McBryant of Rebecca and Dewayne McBryant of Rochelle, sister-Nell Murray of Cordele, 10-grandchildren and 11-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be:Trey McBryant, Andy McBryant, Jake Jackson, Ben Jackson, Ryan Hall and Donald Whisman. Music will be provided by Alex Clements, the congregation and the grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
