William Joseph "Buddy" Strickland

William Joseph “Buddy” Strickland, age 67 of Rochelle, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 22nd in the Double Run Baptist Church.Reverend Quillian Barfield will officiate the service and Lee Wright will do a eulogy.Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the residence at 1070 5th Avenue, Rochelle.Interment will be in the family plot in the Double Run Cemetery. Mr. Strickland was born on January 11, 1951 in Winter Garden, Florida.He was son of the late Levi Strickland and Jessie Mae Helms Strickland.He was employed as a facility engineer with Lockheed-Martin Corp. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include:wife-Elaine Strickland of Rochelle, daughters-Kristie (Harry) Pfabe of Rochelle and Tammy Strickland of Cordele, sisters-Doris (George) Walton of Windermere, Florida, Betty Swindle of Howey In The Hills, Florida and Joyce (Walter) Morgan of Tavares, Florida and 4-grandchildren, Garrett Pfabe and Jessica Pfabe both of Rochelle and Collin Burrows of Stockbridge and Samara Burrows of Cordele.
