William Dean Eason

William Dean Eason, age 62 of Albany, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 in the Wilson Hospice House in Albany. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 13 in the Mathews Funeral Home in Albany.Intermentservice will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 14 in the Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Ga. Mr. Eason was born on December 29, 1948 in Hazelhurst, Ga.He was son of the late James P. Eason and Susie Joiner Eason.He was of the Methodist Faith and was a member of the Dougherty Masonic Lodge #591.He was employed as a Facility Technician with Bell South.He served his country with honor in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. Survivors include:wife-Katherine Fellows Eason of Albany, son-Will Eason of Albany, daughters-Heather (Cole) Shanks of Albany and Holly (Dominic) Ibarra of Tucson, Arizona, brothers-Danny Eason of Rochelle and Dale (Fanilu) Eason of Rochelle, sister-Lynne (Wade) Helms of Abbeville and grandchildren-Caleb Shanks, Blythe Shanks and Adyson Ibarra. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
