Wesley Otis Wallace

Wesley (Otis) Wallace, age 86, of Pitts, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at his residence.He was a retired farmer, as well as a bus driver for twenty-three years with the Wilcox County School System.He was a member of the Christian Home Baptist Church, and loved to garden and spend time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Wallace was born November 30, 1934, in Pitts, GA to the late Harold Strickland Wallace and Marjorie Parkerson Wallace.He is preceded in death by his sister, Valdine Marco.Survivors include his beloved wife of 68 years, Grace Janelle Wallace of Pitts; sons, Larry Wallace of Pitts, daughters, Sandra (Ray) Martin of Rochelle, Patty Calhoun of Pineview, Lisa (Greg) Ledford of Pitts; eleven grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Wallace (Mina) and Raymond Wallace (Sandy); and three sisters, Alice Robitzsch, Helen McGregor, and Aundrea London (John). Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Christian Home Baptist Church with Pastor Jacob Martin and Rev. David Clark officiating.Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the church.Burial will be in the Sandy Mount Baptist Church Cemetery.
