Wanda D. Rhodes

Wanda D. Rhodes, age 81 of Rochelle, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 in the Crossview Care Center in Pineview.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 14, 2024 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.  Reverend Jay Moore will officiate. Private interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rhodes, 3-brothers-Harold Daniels, Wayne Daniels and Jimmy Daniels.

Mrs. Rhodes was born on September 14, 1942 in Abbeville, Ga. to the late Robert W. Daniels and Eva Mae King Daniels.  She was a retired Secretary with the Farm Bureau Insurance Company in Wilcox County for 25 years.  She was a life time resident of Wilcox County and a member of the Rochelle First Baptist Church.  She was a former Secretary with Rochelle Elementary School.

Survivors include:  son-Vic Rhodes (Glee), daughter-Beth Icard (Joel), sister-Sandra Griffin (Dick), 3-grandchildren-Justin Icard, Jonah Icard, and Shane Rhodes.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Morningside Cemetery Trust, P. O. Box 156, Rochelle, Ga. 31079.
