Walton H. Lowery

Walton H. Lowery, age 90, of Eastman, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, at his residence.He was a machine operator for Inland Container Co. in Macon, and was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to garden, and was a Baptist by faith. Mr. Lowery was born October 19, 1930, in Chauncey, Georgia, to the late William P. Lowery and Annie Powell Lowery.He was also preceded in death by a son, Craig Lowery and a step-daughter, Tracy Wells.Survivors include his wife, Betty Lowery of Eastman; his sons, Charley Lowery (Donna) of Thomasville, Chuck Lowery (Rhonda) of Eastman, and Chris Lowery (Denise) of Eastman; his daughters, Cherry Parkerson (Jimmy) of Eastman, and Charlotte Taylor of Eastman; a step-daughter, Jessica Shierling (Alan) of Wisconsin; a step-son, David Wells of Pineview; a sister, Stella Irvin of North Georgia; nineteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pineview Cemetery with Mike Granade and Daniel Folds officiating.
