Vivian S. Collins, age 84, of Cochran, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, in the Taylor Regional Hospital, Hawkinsville, Georgia.She was a seamstress for the old Wilcox Garment Company for 37 years. Vivian was born September 4, 1937, in Abbeville, to the late James Monroe Smith and Alice Foye Helms Smith.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Collins; brothers, James and Talmadge Smith; and her sisters, Ruth Dykes, Betty Smith, Beulah Hancock, and Sara McBryant. Survivors include her two daughters, Donna Newell of Cochran and Debbie Brown of Abbeville; her brother, John Henry Smith of Rochelle; her step-son, Joey Collins of Cochran; two step-daughters, Sharon Collins and Karen Mathis (Buddy) both of Cochran; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 28th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cannonville Cemetery with Rev. Joel Owens officiating.
