Tommy David Baker

Tommy D. Baker, age 79 of 4039 Hwy. 112, Rochelle, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008 in the Pineview Health Care Center.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 17, 2008 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Rev. David Clark will officiate.Interment will be in the Christian Hill Cemetery with military rites. Mr. Baker was born in Turner County on December 26, 1928 having lived most of his life in Wilcox County.He was son of the late Willie Baker and Lizzie Mae Pitts Baker.He was a retired Civil Service Employee of Albany Marine Corps Logistics Center and was of the Baptist Faith.He served his country with honor in the United States Army. Survivors include:son-David Baker of Rochelle, daughter-Martha Ingram of Rochelle, sister-Louise Powell of Cordele, grandchildren-Angie Ingram and Jason Baker, great-grandchild-Wesley Baker and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Sunday, November 16, 2008 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
