Tommie Crenshaw

Tommie Crenshaw, age 87 of Cordele passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, June 12 in the Union Baptist Church in Pitts.Reverend Buford Tanner and Reverend James Bryan will officiate. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery. Mr. Crenshaw was born September 28, 1922 in Pitts, Georgia. He was the son of the late Oscar D. Crenshaw and Minnie Jewel Baker. He had worked at Armor Homes. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by two brothers Samuel Felix Crenshaw and Delmar Rudolph Crenshaw and a sister-in –law Sylvia Crenshaw. Survivors include: brothers – Walter (Buddy) Crenshaw of Pitts, Oscar Dewey Crenshaw, Baker Louisiana, Bobby Leroy Crenshaw (Helen) of Columbus, Ga., sisters – Lena Jane (Carl) Clark of Tampa, Fl., Shirley Jean (Hugh) Clark, Abbeville, Teenie (Joe) Brokamp of Pitts, Sister-in Law, Helen Crenshaw. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, June 11 at Frazier & Son Funeral Home. Donations can be made to the Union Baptist Church Food Bank. Frazier & Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
