Timothy W. Warren, 61, of Atlantis, Florida, was received by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, August 12, 2022, at HCA JFK Hospital following a brief illness. His earthly body will be laid to rest at Stubbs Cemetery in Abbeville, Georgia.
Mr. Warren was born on April 5, 1961, in Miami, Florida, to the late Paul and Thelma Warren.
He served in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged. Later in life he worked in many different fields. He would always say “he was a jack of all trades and master of none”. He believed in whatever you choose to do, do your very best as unto the Lord. His favorite thing to do was to read, and study God's word. Psalm 91 was a favorite of his and he would pray these verses daily over all of the people in his life that he loved so much.
He is survived by his children: April (Sheldon) Mattox of Roberta, Georgia, Jennifer (Tony) Ellington of Fitzgerald, Georgia and Joshua (Samantha) Warren of Roberta, Georgia; 5 granddaughters and 4 grandsons; and two sisters, Angela (Robert) McDonald of Fitzgerald, Georgia, and Rosemary (John) Haughland of Orlando, Florida. A number of nieces, nephews, and additional family members also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Gary Sanford Warren, Manuel Dara Warren, Sharon Lee Warren Sias and Debra Lynn Warren.
We rejoice in the assurance that he is no longer waiting to meet his creator. “I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.” Psalm 69:3
