Thomas O. (Tommy) Conner III, age 67, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his residence in Pineview, Georgia.Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Frazier and Son Funeral Home, which is located in Rochelle, Georgia.Services will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at Pineview Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with graveside services immediately following at Pineview City Cemetery.Pastor Kim Conley will officiate the service. Tommy was born February 14, 1951 in Hawkinsville, Ga.He was son of T. O. Conner, Jr. and Mary Boling Conner of Pineview.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy Rountree Conner, a daughter Amy Conner Dunaway (Brian) of Hawkinsville, a son Michael Conner (Ashley) of Perry and three granddaughters, Conner, Camryn and Caitlynn Lancaster of Hawkinsville, a sister Diane Conner Brantley (Lowery) of Pineview and a brother David Conner (Teresa) of Pineview, and nieces and nephews. Tommy was a devoted Christian and a member of Pineview Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and church treasurer for many years. Tommy was a 1969 graduate of Wilcox County High School and earned his associate degree from Middle Georgia College.While in high school, Tommy was a member of the 1968 Wilcox County High School State Championship, Class B Basketball Team. Tommy was a longtime employee, partner and later became the proud owner of Conner’s Hardware.He also was the owner and operator of Conner’s Pump Service for over 40 years.His customers were special to him, and he considered them to be his close friends and family. Tommy had many loves in his life.He was a devoted husband, father and papa.He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was an avid NASCAR, drag racing and go-kart racing fan.
