Thomas D. Knight, age 67 of Abbeville, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 in the Phoebe-Dorminy Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 5th in the Cannonville Baptist Church.Interment will be in the Cedar Creek Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Mr. Knight was born in Hawkinsville on October 14, 1944.He was son of the late Dan W. Knight and Mary Lou Smith Knight.He was Owner/Operator of Knight’s Tire Company.He was a member of Cannonville Baptist Church and an active member in the Abbeville Western Light Masonic Lodge #272. Survivors include:wife of 48 years-Ruby R. Knight, daughter-Lynn K. Walls and son-in-law-Keith Walls, son-Wade Knight and daughter-in-law-Katrina D. Knight, son-David Knight, grandchildren-Logan Knight, Justin Knight, Renee Flinchum, Michael Dennard and Kelsey Knight, great-grandchildren-Gage Knight, Zachary Knight and Tristen Flinchum, sister-Cindy Thompson, brother-Richard Knight and several nieces and nephews, step-mother-Kathleen Knight, step-brothers-Jimmy and John McAnally and a step-sister-Deloris Young and his beloved dog, Goldie. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, June 4th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
