Thelma A. Gibbs

Thelma A. Gibbs, age 61 of 185 Bowens Mill Hwy., (formerly of Abbeville) passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 in the Heritage Health Care Nursing Home.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 24th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Reverend Dan Lovett and Reverend David Clark will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Gibbs was born on April 27, 1952 in Fitzgerald.She was daughter of the late Charles E. Mitchell and Ida Mae Clements Mitchell.She wasretired as a Sales Associate with Wal-Mart in Cordele.She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include:husband-Jimmy D. Gibbs of Abbeville, brothers-John E. Mitchell of Rochelle, Charles A. Mitchell of Alabama and Howard L. Mitchell of Ocilla and a sister-Charlie Mae Teal of Americus. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, December 23rd in the funeral home. The family may be contacted at the residence of Christy and Dan Lovett, 6449 Ga. Hwy. 215 South, Abbeville, Ga. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
