Talmadge Smith

Talmadge Smith, age 72, of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in Crisp Regional Hospital, Cordele, Georgia.He was retired from Homestead Mobile Home Mfg., and was a member of Cannonville Baptist Church. Talmadge was born August 20, 1949, in Abbeville, to the late James Monroe Smith and Alice Foye Helms Smith.He is survived by his son, Robert Lee Smith of Rochelle; his daughters, Lorie Ann Smith (Clark Bowen) of Hatley, Cindy Faye Smith of Warner Robins, and Wendy Kaye Smith of Abbeville; his brother, John Henry Smith of Rochelle; and a sister, Vivian Collins of Cochran. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 24th at 2:00 p.m. in Liberty Hill Cemetery with Rev. Joel Owens officiating.A visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the gravesite.
