Shirley H. Douglas age 68 of McRae, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 in the Savannah Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, September 28, 2012 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rebecca.Reverend Ralph Horne will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Douglas was born on March 28, 1944 in Tifton.She was daughter of the late Travis Hester and Claudie Belle Holton Hester.She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include:husband-William Douglas of McRae, sons-William “Bubba” (Patricia) Douglas of Abbeville and Terry Wayne Douglas of Pineview, daughter-Sherry (Guy) Horne of Eastman, brother-J. C. Hester of Tifton, sisters-Elizabeth Lassiter of Tifton and Barbara Jo Horton of Tifton, 11-grandchildren and 1-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, September 27th in the funeral home. The family may be contacted at the residence of Bubba and Patricia Douglas, 732 Willingham Rd., Abbeville, Ga. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
