Sheryll Luther

Sheryll Luther, age 63 of Abbeville, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 18th in the Abbeville First Baptist Church.Visitation was one hour before the service from 1-2 PM in the church.Reverend Jim Faircloth and Reverend Chuck Taylorofficiated.Interment was in the family plot in the Stubbs Cemetery. Sheryll was born on December 25, 1953 in Hawkinsville.She was daughter of the late Zack Bloodworth and Norma McDuffie Bloodworth.She was retired as a Food Service Dietician Supervisor with Abbeville Nursing Home and the Wilcox County State Prison.She was a member of the Abbeville First Baptist Church. Survivors include:husband-Mitch Luther of Abbeville, son-Matt (Sherrie) Luther of Hahira, daughter-Brandy Rottman of Abbeville, brother-Deryll (Linda) Bloodsworth of Abbeville, sister-Marla (David) Hogan of Abbeville, grandchildren-Zachary Luther, Holden Rottman, Lila Rottman, Nathon Watson, Tylor Simmons, Mathew Simmons and 5-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were:Aubrey Wilson, Scott Fuller, Tommy Fuller, Carl Gillespie, W. L. Taylor and Charley Coleman. Music was provided by Kay Dorsey, Donna Stripling and Celia McGlamory.
