Sheila Tanner, age 60 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at her residence.Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 8th in the Cannonville Baptist Church.Reverend Tim Moorhouse and Reverend Chuck Taylor will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Cannonville Cemetery. Mrs. Tanner was born on September 23, 1956 in Fitzgerald.She was daughter of the late Walter Craft and Vanez Jones Craft.She was a member of the Kramer Baptist Church.She was a retired Medical Records Clerk with River Willows Nursing Home in Abbeville.She was widow of the late Ronald Tanner and was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Tanner. Survivors include:son-Casey Tanner and wife Cindy of Abbeville, daughter-Rita Freeman of Abbeville, sister-Larue Holmes and husband Charles of Hawkinsville, 4-grandchildren and 2-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, June 7th in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be:Phil and Phillip Fisher, Tim Miller, Jamie Handley, Dean Marchant, Dustin Gibbs and Allen Herbert. Rhonda Henderson will play prelude and postlude and sing “It Is Well With My Soul”.Tim Moorhouse will sing “Beulah Land” and Clay Holmes will sing “I Believe”.
