Sarah Ann Stevens

Sarah Ann Stevens, age 64 of Abbeville, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 Pm Sunday, November 17, 2024 in the Kramer Baptist Church.  Reverend Tim Moorhouse will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour before the service in the church.  Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Stevens was born on February 27, 1960 in Lawrenceville, Ga.  She was daughter of the late Herman Chriswell and Mary Kathleen Holcomb Chriswell.  She retired in 2012 from the Wilcox County Board of Education with more than 15 years of service.  She was a member of Kramer Baptist Church and loved fishing and working in her yards.  She is preceded in death by a daughter-Selina Stevens in 2005, 5-brothers and 1-sister.

Survivors include:  husband-Michael Stevens of Abbeville, daughter-Sierra (Ronald) Brown of Fitzgerald and sisters-Linda Stevens of Abbeville, Margie Williford of Rochelle, Kathy Sims of Dacula, Faye Akinson of Loganville and Mary Chriswell of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive flowers or you may make donations to go toward a good cause.
