Sara H. Gibbs

Sara H. Gibbs, age 87, of Abbeville passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, in the Pruitt Health Care Center, Ocilla, Georgia.  She was a retired machine operator for SERO Corp. in Cordele, and a member of Kramer Baptist Church.

Sara was born September 28, 1934, in Abbeville, to the late Henry Hunter and Eula Conner Hunter.  She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lucy Wilson and Thelma Padgett.  Survivors include her son, William Gibbs; her daughter, Bonnie Harvey (Doug); her grandchildren, Sandy Fisher (Phil), Gregory Guy, Dustin Gibbs (Laura), and Courtney Fowler (Brandon); her great-grandchildren, Hailey McMillan (Stephen), Phillip Fisher, Austin Guy, Landon Guy, Coy Gibbs, Kaylee Crane, Branson Fowler, Braxton Fowler, Ava Fowler, and Kylie Fowler; her great-great-grandchildren, Kinsley Williams, Carter McMillan, Jaxon McMillan, Madison Guy, Bentley Guy, and Cohen Guy; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 12 ^th , at 11:00 a.m. in Kramer Baptist Church, with Rev. Brad Brownlee officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Siloam Cemetery conducted by Rev. Kenny Croft.

The family will be at the home of Sandy & Phil Fisher, 306 Depot St., Abbeville, GA 31001.
