Sara Elizabeth Clark

Sara Elizabeth Clark, age 90, of Rochelle, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, in the Northside Villa Personal Care Home.  She was retired paraprofessional with the Wilcox County High School, an avid gardener, a great cook, and a devoted Christian.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Sara was born October 21, 1931, in Rochelle, to the late C.E. Gibbs and Ila  Owens Gibbs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harris D. Clark; and 2 sons, Mark and Donnie Clark (Janice).   Survivors include her sons, Edwin Clark (Vikki), and Ken Clark (Jennifer); her brothers, Bud Gibbs (Sarah), Raleigh Gibbs (Lillie), and Ronald Gibbs (Charlotte); her sisters, Virginia Allen, and Nell Stanford (Doyle); her grandchildren, Paige Gaines, Allison Clark, Chloe Clark, Nicole Anderson (Andy), Candice McKie (Joel), and Cameron Clark, and her great-grandchildren, Clark Gaines, Lexie Anderson, Gage Anderson, Harrison McKie, and Blythe McKie.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 5 ^th , at 11:00 a.m. in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Craig Barnette officiating.  Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to Reflections Hospice, 202 4th Ave., Cordele GA 31015, or Morningside Cemetery Fund, P.O. 156, Rochelle, GA 31079.

The family will be at the residence of Edwin & Vikki Clark, 2010 Ga. Hwy. 215, Rochelle, GA 31079.
