Sandra M. Smith

Sandra M. Smith, age 72 of Pitts, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at her residence.Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 5th in the Pitts Baptist Church.Reverend Bill Kent and Reverend David Clark will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Christian Home Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born on December 20, 1939 in Pitts.She was daughter of Brooks Whittle Martin and the late William T. (Bill) Martin.she was a retired Sales Clerk from B. C. Moore's in Cordele.She was a member of the Pitts Baptist Church and the Middle Adult Sunday School Class.She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Smith, a sister, Billy Lee Faircloth and a brother, W. T. Martin. Survivors include:brother-Jimmy (Peggy) Martin of Pitts, sisters-Joanne M. (Gene) Funderburke of Macon, Louve (Gwendell) McSwain of Gray and several nieces and nephews. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
