Sadie W. McClain age 87 of Pitts, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at her residence..Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 3rd in the Union Baptist Church.Reverend Larry Banks and Reverend Joel Owens will officiate. Mike Farrow will present a eulogy. Interment will be in the family plot in the Union Cemetery.Visitation will be one hour before the service in the church from 10-11 AM. Mrs. McClain was born on May 22, 1932 in Pitts, Ga.She was daughter of the late Otis C. Watson and Mattie E. O’Neal Watson.She was a retired Paraprofessional with the Wilcox County School System and a member of the Union Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. “Dub” McClain. Survivors include:5-daughters-Diana (Charles) Walker of Pitts, Janie (Glenn) McDuffie of Abbeville, Robbie (Mike) Farrow of Pitts, Janet (Terry) Barefoot of Pitts and Janice Clark (the widower of the late Donnie Clark) of Rochelle, 13-grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Music will be provided by Janis Crenshaw, Beth Bullock, Judy Nutt, Colton Farrow will sing "Knowing What I Know About Jesus" and the congregation will sing "Sweet Hour of Prayer". Pallbearers will be:Active-Jason McDuffie, Rob Walker, Colton Farrow, Brian Thompson, Cameron Clark and Greyson Farrow. Honorary pallbearers will be:Gage Anderson, Logan Barnard, Nelson Clements, Noah Gibbs, Harold Harris, M. A. Powell, Mickey Newell, Clay and Clint Oliver.
