Ruth May Sorofman

Ruth May Sorofman, age 88 of 353 Fellows Rd., Rochelle, formerly of Bethel , Maine, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009 at her residence.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.The Reverend Danny Allen will officiate. Mrs. Sorofman was born on July 15, 1920 in South Mumford, Maine.She was daughter of the late Earl O. Cummings and Nellie F. Silver Cummings.She was a retired Pawn Broker.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah George in 1994 and was widower of the late Harold S. Sorofman. Survivors include:sons-Bernard Sorofman of Iowa City, Iowa and Clayton Sorofman of Cordele, daughters-Joy Bloodworth of Rochelle and Audrey Luers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 10-grandchildren and 9-great-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
