Russell H. Burke, Jr., age 81 of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on December 20th at 12:00 Noon in the Rochelle United Methodist Church.Pastor Eric Sizemore will officiate. Mr. Burke was born on April 29, 1939 in Mount Joy, PA.He was the son of the late Russell Hugh Burke and Naomi Engle Fortin Burke.He was retired from Rands Trucking in the truck maintenance department.He attended the Rochelle United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Thomas.he served his country with honor in the United States Navy. Survivors include:wife-Louise Burke of Rochelle, sons-Brian Burke of Baltimore, Maryland and Steven (Victoria) Burke of Green Acres, Florida, 3-step-daughters-Jackie (Dwight) Smith of Elkton, Maryland, Louise (Joe) Craig of Elkton, Maryland and Frances (Leonard) Smith of Rochelle, grandchild-Chris Burke of Baltimore, Maryland and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 1-great-great-granddaughter.
