Ruby L. Gibbs

Ruby L. Gibbs, age 54 of 332 Mitchell Rd., Rochelle passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Rev. Wayne Martin, Rev. Blake Westbrook, and Rev. Jimmy McClain will officiate.Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Gibbs was born on November 5, 1953 in Telfair County having lived the past 20 years in Wilcox County.She was daughter of the late James Lee Davis. She was retired from Civil Service Robins Air Force Base.She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include:Mother-Leoma Bryan Davis of Bonaire, husband-Raleigh J. Gibbs of Rochelle, sons-Brandon Lee Baugh of Warner Robins, William Raleigh Gibbs and Luke Jackson Gibbs both of Rochelle, brothers-Leon Davis of Byron, Glynn Davis of Indiana, and William M. Davis of Bonaire, sisters-Vivian D. Parrish of Albany and Rachel Carroll of Byron, 2-grandchildren, Joeanna and Collin Baugh. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
