Ruben Lamb

Ruben Lamb, age 90 of Abbeville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 15th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.  Reverend David Clark and Reverend Craig Barnette will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10-11 AM in the chapel. Interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery.

Mr. Lamb was born on March 7, 1934 to the late Dodson W. Lamb and Lula S. “Dood” Lamb.  He was owner-operator of R. D. Lamb Well Drilling Co. and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  He was a former member of the Wilcox County Board of Commissioners. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie F. Lamb, a son-Dennis Lamb and 2-brothers-Amon and Rouse Lamb.

Survivors include:  son-Mike Lamb & family, daughter-in-law, Jane Lamb and grandchildren-Craig Lamb (Ashley), Josh Lamb (Miranda), Luke Lamb (Torri) and great-grandchildren-Katie, Ansley, Lane, Trenton, Tucker, Bransen, Casen and Anisten.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Morningside Cemetery Trust, P. O. Box 156, Rochelle, Ga. 31079
