Roxie Farr, age 74, of Marietta, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in Marietta Living Center.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 5th in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier & Son Funeral Home.Reverend Britt Peavy will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Farr was born on November 29, 1940 in Pitts, Ga.She was daughter of the late Jim C. and Evie Moore Rawlins .She was a member of Mt. Paran Church of God in Marietta. She was retired from Lockheed Martin as an Administrative Assistant.She was a member of the UDC and the DAR. She enjoyed spending time with her family and researching genealogy. Survivors include:daughter-Sheila Stone of Cartersville, sister: Sibbie R. Terry of Rochelle, grandchildren: Chase Alexander and Gavin Montgomery of Cartersville. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, September 4th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Flowers will be accepted. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
