Ronnie L. Dennard

Ronnie Dennard, age 71, of Abbeville, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at his residence.  He was employed with the Department of Corrections in the Commissary Division, and had worked with Shaw Industries for 27 years.  Ronnie was a former funeral associate with Frazier & Son Funeral Home and a former member of the Rochelle Volunteer Fire Department.   He was a member of Kramer Baptist Church.

Ronnie was born January 10, 1952, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Otis L. Dennard and Velma Cross Dennard.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dennard; 2 sons, Joey and Jordan Dennard; a brother, Wayne Dennard (Jewel); and nieces, Tammy Tripp (Mel) and Christy Lucas (Brian).

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 10 ^th , at 11:00 a.m. in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. David Clark officiating.  A visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the Morningside Cemetery Trust Fund, P.O. 156, Rochelle, GA 31079.

The family will be at the residence of Joey Dennard, 12236 U.S. Hwy 280, Abbeville GA 31001.
