Roger W. Holliday

Roger W. Holliday, age 81 of Pitts, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in the Pleasant View Baptist Church.Reverend Jimmy Black will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant View Cemetery with Military Rites. Mr. Holliday was born on October 12, 1933 in Pitts, Ga.He was son of the late Dewey Holliday and Nina Collins Holliday.He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Wilcox County Farm Bureau and a Farmer. He served his country with honor in the United States Army. Survivors include:wife-Wyona Holliday of Pitts, sons-Mike (Maranda) Holliday of Pitts, Stacy (Shirley) Holliday of Rochelle, Keith (Dana) Holliday of Pitts, grandchildren-Trent Holliday, Audrey Holliday, Will Holliday and Kaylee White. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2015inthe funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
