Robert L. Simmons, age 81 of Vienna, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February the 4th in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.Reverend Jeremy Barrett and Reverend Robert Robinson will officiate. Mr. Simmons was born on January 29, 1940 in Pitts, Ga.He was son of the late Raymond Louie Simmons and Lela Mae Burnette Simmons.He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and the church choir.He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.He was a member of the Georgia Hunting and Fishing Federation.and was a Quail Hunting Guide for Mill Creek Farms in Oglethorpe. Survivors include:wife-Ethel Lois Simmons of Vienna, daughter-Michele Simmons Harvey of Vienna, brother-Raymond Simmons of Abbeville, sister-Elizabeth “Peggy” West of Tifton, grandchildren-Jason Harvey and Cheryl Harvey of Montezuma.
