Robert H. Rountree, age 87 of Pineview, formerly of Pitts, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 in the Crossview Care Center.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 29th in the Union Cemetery.Visitation will be from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM before the service in Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Kelsey Brady will officiate. Mr. Rountree was born on May 13, 1929 in Pitts, Ga.He was son of the late Ernest Rountree and Mae Wright Rountree.He was a retired employee with Pitts Gin and was a member of the Union Baptist Church.He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Hobbs in 2015. Survivors include:wife-Lois Rountree of Pineview(formerly of Pitts), sons-Robert (Joanne) Rountree of Warner Robins, Michael Rountree of Pitts and Danny (Deborah) Rountree of Pitts, sister-Pasy Reed of Canton, 8-grandchildren, 8-great-grandchildren and a son-in-law-Loyce Hobbs of Pitts.
