Robert P. Conner, age 74 of Pitts, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 19th in the Union Baptist Church.Reverend Quillian Barfield, Reverend Steve Clifton and Reverend Larry Wilbanks will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pitts Cemetery. Mr. Conner was born on May 27, 1940 in Pitts, Ga.He was son of the late Dewey Conner and Ollie Jean Crenshaw Conner.He was a farmer and Owner/Operator of Conner’s Store in Pitts.He was a member of the Union Baptist Church. Survivors include:wife-Allene P. Conner of Pitts, son-Phil (Cheryl) Conner of Pitts, daughter-Robbie Lynn (Quillian) Barfield of Pitts, brothers-Gerald and Kenneth Conner both of Monticello, sister-Wanda Jacobs of Pitts, 4-grandchildren and 5-great-grandchildren. The body will be at the residence at 2367 Melba Rd., Pitts, Ga. after 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 18th.Friends may visit with the family at the residence. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
