Frazier and Son Funeral Home Celebration of Life for Ricky L. Harp Ricky L. Harp, age 60 of Rhine, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Abbeville.A Celebration of Life was held at the Dawg House, home of Scotty and Karen King, 885 Brushy Creek Rd., Abbeville, Ga. on Friday, May 9th from 6-8 PM. Mr. Harp was born on February 13, 1954 in Fulton County and lived in Swainsboro, Conyers, Pitts, and Rhine, Ga. He was preceded in death by his loving parents William E. and Peggy Harp Chance and William J. Harp; his cherished grandparents Elder Rollie and Laura (Chick) Riner; James E. and Cleo Chance; and many other beloved friends and family members. Those that remain to celebrate his memory include daughters Kimberly Harp Garrigus (Andrew) of Monroe; Kristyn Penney Boothe of Pitts; son Michael Penney of Pitts; sister Denise Chance Oravec (Jim) of St. Marys; grandchildren Ethan Garrigus, Hudson Boothe, Kady Boothe; several cousins. Rick was an avid and talented musician, a loving Daddy, Papa, brother, and son.He will be remembered as a passionate Georgia Bulldog Fan!He had abundant friends that he valued and a unique personality all his own that will be remembered, cherished, and missed beyond measure. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle had charge of arrangements.
