Reba L. Baker

Reba L. Baker, age 80, of Abbeville, passed from this life into eternal rest on Monday, October 23, 2023, in the Irwin County Hospital.  She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church, and was a retired secretary for the Wilcox County Board of Education.

Reba was born August 29, 1943, in Abbeville, to the late Johnny Luther and Inez Hunter Luther.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Harris; and a half-brother, Ed Luther.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Baker; her son, Gene Baker (Claire); her grandchildren:  Dusty Baker, Jenna Addison (Jason), Rusty Harris (Leigh), and Jordan Harris (Taylor), Marcus Peacock; and her great-grandchildren:  Jace, Jeb, and Jax Addison, Gracie Baker, and Townes Harris.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 25th, at 11:00 a.m. in Siloam Baptist Church, with Rev. Joey Boney officiating.  Tim Harris and Bob Bennett will give eulogies.  Interment will follow in the Siloam Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the church prior to the service.

The family will be at the residence Gene Baker, 379 Hwy. 129 S., Abbeville GA 31001.
