Rayford Clinton Kennedy

Rayford Clinton Kennedy, age 82, of Rochelle, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021, in the Life Care Center, Fitzgerald, Georgia.He was a Master Electrician with Allison-Smith Company in Atlanta, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a Methodist minister for 50 years. Mr. Kennedy was born March 11, 1939, in Cordele, Georgia, to the late Johnny Eugene Kennedy and Matilda Massey Kennedy.He is survived by his son, Ray Kennedy (Christie) of Rochelle; his daughter, Robin Hicks (Scott) of Dallas, GA; his grandchildren, Ray Kennedy, Kevin Kennedy, Catherine Kennedy, Caitlin Washington, Blake Hicks, Makalia Gibson, Abby Hicks and Lydia Hicks; and his great-grandchildren, Brinley and Mallory Hicks, and Emmet and Oscar Washington. A chapel service will be held Tuesday, July 13th, at 2:00 p.m. in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Kevin Baker officiating.A visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.Interment will be in Salem Cemetery (Ben Hill County) with military honors.
