Patricia F. Bahnsen

Patricia F. Bahnsen, age 84, of Rochelle, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019, at the Houston Medical Center, Warner Robins, Ga., following a period of declining health.She was born December 17, 1934, in Rochelle, Ga., to the late Wendell Duncan Fitzgerald and Geraldine Jackson Fitzgerald.Pat attended Brenau Academy and graduated from the University of Georgia with a 6 year Degree in Education Administration.She was a Special Education Teacher in Wilcox County, and retired as the Director of Special Education of Wilcox County. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her son Bradley Duncan Bahnsen.Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Wendy Bahnsen of Valdosta; her son, Jimmy Bahnsen; her daughter, LeeAnne Bahnsenboth of Rochelle; her grandchildren and their spouses:Lauren and Chris Duncan of Valdosta, Derrick Bahnsen of Athens, Jon Bradley Bahnsen of Valdosta, Lana Harvey of Sandersville, and Leah and Caleb Brown of Rochelle; her great-grandchildren: Andrew, Bradlee and Brooks; and her brother, Jim Fitzgerald II and nephew Jim Fitzgerald III of St. Petersburg, FL.
