Odis "Bob" Wheeler

Odis Baxter  "Bob" Wheeler Jr., age 74 of Conyers, died Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Wheeler; sister and brother-in-law, Susan Perry and Paul Perry. He is preceded in death by his father, Odis Baxter Wheeler Sr., mother, Ouidafa Wheeler.

Odis taught school for over 20 years and went on to open his own business, Southern Charms, a bridal and formal wear store. Mr. Wheeler spent the last 8 years of his life at Rockdale Healthcare Center in Conyers, Georgia. He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and loved tennis.

Graveside service will be held at Pitts Cemetery in Pitts, Georgia, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. with Scott McGuinty officiating; Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com. Scot Ward Funeral Services, 699 American Legion Rd., Conyers, GA, 770-483-7216.
