Norma Jean Cross Burt

Norma Jean Cross Burt, age 67 of Franklin, NC passed away March 20, 2019 in the N. E. Georgia Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 23rd in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Reverend Ralph Griffin and Reverend Craig Barnett will officiate. Agnes McKinney presented a eulogy. Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Burt was born on April 14, 1951 in Hawkinsville.She was daughter of the late Jim Tom Cross and Geraldine Gordon Cross.She did clerical work for Farmer's Home Administration and was of the Baptist Faith.She is preceded in death by a brother, James Cross in 2006. Survivors include:husband-Gene Burt of Franklin, NC, daughter-Stephanie Joiner of Perry, step-son-Jon (Dera) Burt of Gainsville, step-daughter-Angelia (Marty) Dolloff of Boston, Mass., sister-in-law-Joann Cross of Rochelle, 13-grandchildren and 2-great-grandchildren.
