Norma Bloodsworth

Norma H. Bloodsworth, age 79 of Abbeville, passed away, Friday November 28, 2014 at the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday December 1 in the Abbeville First Baptist Church. Reverend Tony Dixon, Reverend Jim Faircloth, and Reverend Jay Moore will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday before the service in the church. Interment will be in the Stubbs Cemetery. Mrs. Bloodsworth was born on April 19, 1935 in Wilcox County. She was daughter of the late Manning McDuffie and Martha Smith McDuffie.She was retired Abbeville City Council. She was a member of the Abbeville First Baptist Church. Survivors include: son – Derryl (Linda) Bloodsworth, Abbeville, daughters – Sheryll (Mitch) Luther, Abbeville, Marla (David) Hogan, Abbeville. 4 Grandchildren, 12 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild also survive. The Family will meet at the residence each day from 10 AM until 9 PM.
