Nettie P. Cason

Nettie P. Cason, age 98 of Pineview, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in the Pineview Healthcare Center.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 30, 2009 in the Pleasant View Baptist Church.Reverend Mike Cook and Reverend Tommy Brett will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Mrs. Cason was born on November 18, 1910 in Wilcox County. She was daughter of the late Paul W. Collins and Mary Warren Collins.She was a seamstress and was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. Cason, 2-brothers-Curtis Davidson and Aubin Collins, sisters-Eula Griffin, Lydia Pilkinton, Doris Rhodes, Nina Holliday and Ellie Benson. Survivors include:sons-Allen (Marlene) Cason of Rochelle and Lamar (Patricia) Cason of Warner Robins, daughter-Betty (Pete) Bloodworth of Rochelle, sister-Essie “Peggy” Collins of Pineview and Lessie Crumley of Pineview, 7-grandchildren, 13-great-grandchildren and 1-great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, October 29 in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
