Nellie Parks McPherson, age 75 of Seville, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in the Seville Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. McPherson was born on September 28, 1934 in Seville, Georgia.She was daughter of the late Charley L. Pitts and Martha Jane Byce Pitts.She was a homemaker and member of the Seville Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Dewey Parks and Carl McPherson and two sons, Wayne and Jimmy Parks. Survivors include:sons-J. D. Parks of Seville and Randell (Denna) Parks of Seville, daughters-Betty (Kenneth) McGlamry of Pitts and Barbara (Wayne) Williams of Cordele, brother-Charles “Bo” (Laura) Pitts of Charlotte, N. C., sister-Mildred Lingefelt of Cordele, 17-grandchildren and 30-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be:John W. Williams, Walter Williams, Troy Williams, Wayne Parks, Alex Parks, and Austin Parks. Music will be provided by Brittney Wheeler and Jane Schum. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
