Nathaniel H. Reid, age 58 of Rochelle, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26th in the First Baptist Church of Rochelle.Rev. Jim Faircloth and Reverend Tommy Baker will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Mr. Reid was born on November 9, 1955 in Macon.He was son of the late Robert Reid.He was a retired Machine Operator with Delphi and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochelle and the Rochelle City Council.He was a 1975 graduate of Wilcox County High School.He was a member of the Rochelle Masonic Lodge #190 and was Worshipful Master in 2006 and 2007.He was Worshipful Master in the Third Masonic District in 2013 and 2014.He was very supportive of his son’s golf involvement. Survivors include:mother-Frances H. Reid of Rochelle, son-Brett Reid of Rochelle and brothers-Bob Reid of Newnan and Clay Reid of Rochelle. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Rochelle Masonic Lodge #190, C/O Wilton King, P. O. Box 62, Rochelle, Ga. 31079. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, April 25th in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be:Tim Harris, Berry Collier, Wilton King, Jeffery Justice, Brad Barbes, Bill Dorough, Ronnie Phillips and Craig Segroves. The family may be contacted at the residence of Clay and Sherry Reid, 830 5th Avenue, Rochelle, Ga. Prelude and postlude will be played by Alex Clements and he will sing “I Get Carried Away”.Holly Howell will sing “Daddy’s Hands” and a cd will play “Amazing Grace”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
