Nancy Dean Gordon Sheffield

Nancy Dean Gordon Sheffield, age 69, of Rochelle, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at her residence.  She was a retired school teacher with the Wilcox County School System and was a member and pianist at Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church.

Nancy was born February 4, 1953, in Hawkinsville, Georgia, to the late Thelbert Gordon and Annie Grace Turk.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Sheffield.  Survivors include her son, Jack Sheffield, Jr., of Jonesboro; her daughter, Tami Sutton (Greg) of Rochelle; her brother, Tim Gordon (Janet) of Rochelle; her sister, LeAnne Worley (Tim) of Rochelle; her life-friend, Judy Pheil; her grandchildren, Alex Harpe, Ashley Gilstrap (A.J.), and Matthew (Maci) Sutton; and her great-grandson, Wyatt Evans.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, October 2 ^nd , at 3:00 p.m. in Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Wayne Martin and Pastor Jacob Martin officiating.  Interment will be in Christian Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday evening, October 1 ^st , from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Frazier & Son Funeral Home, 1016 4 ^th Ave., Rochelle, GA, 31079.
