Myrtice M. Baker

Myrtice M. Baker, age 95 of Abbeville, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 in the Medical Center of Central Georgia.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 2 in the Siloam Baptist Church.Visitation will be from 9-10:00 AM on Tuesday before the service in the church.Dr. Kenneth Keene and Reverend Jim Faircloth will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Siloam Cemetery. Mrs. Baker was born on January 4, 1916 in Abbeville, Ga.She was daughter of the late John Thomas McDuffie and Letha Louvella Brown McDuffie.She was a homemaker and member of the Siloam Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, William Marvin Baker. Survivors include a son-Tommy (Reba) Baker of Abbeville, 4-grandchildren, 6-great-grandchildren and 5-great-great-grandsons.
